Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It’s not something you learn in school. But if you haven’t learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven’t learned anything.

He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.

I am America. I am the part you won’t recognize. But get

used to me. Black, confident, cocky; my name, not yours;

my religion, not yours; my goals, my own; get used to me.

I’ve wrestled with alligators, I’ve tussled with a whale.

I done handcuffed lightning

And thrown thunder in jail.

You know I’m bad.

Just last week, I murdered a rock,

Injured a stone, Hospitalized a brick.

I’m so mean, I make medicine sick.

Last night I cut the lights out, was in my bed before the room was dark.

I’m bad.

Real bad.

My conscience won’t let me go shoot my brother, or some darker people, some poor, hungry people in the mud, for big powerful America, and shoot them for what? They never called me nigger. They never lynched me. They didn’t put no dogs on me.

“I know where I’m going and I know the truth, and I don’t have to be what you want me to be. I’m free to be what I want.”

R.I.P. Muhammad Ali (January 17, 1942 – June 3, 2016)

I know where I’m going and I know the truth, and I don’t have to be what you want me to be. I’m free to be what I want.

It’s lack of faith that makes people afraid of meeting challenges, and I believed in myself.

“Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. The hands can’t hit what the eyes can’t see.”

I’m not the greatest; I’m the double greatest. Not only do I knock ‘em out, I pick the round.
