In the art world, there’s one area that is woefully underappreciated — prints and multiples. In this video from Bonhams, the renowned auction house, you can get a closer look at three of the most incredible and historic print sets to see what makes this medium so unique. Director of Prints, Lucia Tro Santafe, takes us through works from Francisco José de Goya in his famous series Disasters of War, as well as Cyril Edward Power and Andy Warhol. These three great masters are known for huge bodies of work, but being able to take a closer look at these prints through the eyes of an expert is a rare opportunity.

Bonhams has such a stunning range of pieces and works — and the standard of art that they have available is unrivalled. But more than just the works themselves, it’s the expertise that they bring into the process that really gives those of us who are outside of the art world a window into these masterpieces. Many of us may not be in a position to purchase or bid on a Warhol or a Goya, but seeing it through the eyes of an expert is so rewarding.
