10 minutes of pure musical bliss. That’s what this video has to give. This improvisation between Bobby McFerrin and Richard Bona has to be heard to be believed. If you’re not familiar with Bobby McFerrin, he’s a ten-time Grammy Award winner with a voice that’s truly out of this world. His unique skills, fluidity, and even overtone singing give him a totally unusual and breath-taking sound. Richard Bona is an equally talented, Grammy Award-winning jazz bassist born in Cameroon, who has traveled the world sharing his astounding talent both through performance and teaching. Together, the two are an unstoppable force.

There are moments in this that have the audience in silent awe. There are other moments that are so playful and care-free that the audience erupts in laughter. Watching the two men interact and feed off of each other’s immense talent is a sight to behold. I don’t care if you’re a jazz aficionado, a music lover, or just someone who appreciates something special when they hear it. This is a video that you need to hear to believe.
